This is Cloud, a tiny kitten we rescued from a shed. He was born to a feral mama cat who was barely feeding him, and his eyes were so infected he couldn’t see. We bottle fed him until he was ready for his forever home. Here’s what his owner has to say about him now:

“Cloud has a genetic birth defect that we addressed to give him a chance at a good life.  According to his vet, one eye never formed right and was very susceptible to infections.  At seven months old he was still small for his age but had finally gained enough weight to be neutered.  However, the blood panel done before surgery confirmed the eye needed to be removed due to infection.  The surgery took place on November 28th and has made a fantastic improvement in his personality.  For the first time in his life, he felt good.  No more infection.  He kept all of us totally entertained and terrorized the other cats and dogs.  According his vet, Cloud would never be a large cat, probably about 7 pounds but that was okay.  We loved the stocky, tough little guy. Boy was his Vet wrong on his being a small cat.  Look at him now! Apparently, he is not typical for his genetic defects.

The following year, we rescued a litter of orphan kittens that were only a day or two old - they still had the umbilical cords attached when we found them. The vet told us they’d never make it but we were determined, and by some miracle all 4 kittens in the litter survived and are now thriving. This little one, Rain, went to go live with amazing family who adopted Cloud.

“On June 6, 2023, Rain joined our household.  A cousin of Cloud from the same colony, she has a totally different personality.  She is as floofy as her cousin, Cloud, but she is a gentle old soul.  Very regal.  A much smaller cat but that doesn’t stop her from being extreme.  Cloud is super sweet and cuddly.  However, when she isn’t cuddling with her humans, she is a playful imp!  Rain loves the two younger family members, Windy and Breeze, twin torties.  These three are a true CRASH of CATS!  When they play, everything goes crash!

Our house is full of love, joy, purrs and crashes (even though the house and Catio are kitten proof) that never quit thanks to people like Trisha (Founder of Casey’s Crew Animal Rescue), who rescue and find homes for fur babies who deserve a chance at the good life.  Our babies aren’t spoiled, they are spoiled rotten.

This is Cooper (orange) and Salem (black). These sweet boys were orphaned by a feral mama cat who gave birth to them in a shed and then passed away. We rescued them at about 5 weeks old and bottle fed them until they were ready for their forever home. Here is what their owner says about them now: “Those are my chunky boys now, Cooper is a little chunky boy that loves to eat and terrorize me when he’s hungry, and Salem is a little explorer that lovesss to be cuddled next to the fire.”

This is Tigger! Tigger was part of the same litter as Cooper and Salem. Here’s what his owner has to say about him now: “Tigger completed our little family more than we could have ever imagined. He bonded with our doodle almost immediately and before we knew it they were best friends. Tigger loves going on adventures to the desert with us in the motorhome as well as hanging out at home. He’s definitely got everyone in our house wrapped around his little paws and we couldn’t imagine life without him.”
